About

Mordechay “Mordy” Saidian is a dedicated trial lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman who brings a detail-oriented, research-driven approach to personal injury law. With experience spanning personal injury, employment, landlord-tenant, and consumer protection cases, Mordechay is committed to advocating for clients harmed by another’s negligence. His legal practice is rooted in practical litigation skills, client-centered service, and a passion for justice. Mordechay approaches each case with a combination of sharp legal acumen and a personal commitment to securing the compensation his clients deserve.

Before joining Carpenter & Zuckerman, Mordechay developed a well-rounded legal background through clerkships and internships at several Los Angeles-area firms. At a Pasadena employment and personal injury law firm, he handled client intakes, drafted complaints and motions, and conducted legal research. He concurrently served as a law clerk at another Los Angeles-based firm, where he focused on Lemon Law and warranty litigation—drafting discovery documents, preparing demand letters, and calculating damages related to defective vehicles.

Mordechay gained valuable courtroom experience as a legal extern at a Los Angeles real estate and eviction law firm, where he supported unlawful detainer and eviction defense cases, attended court proceedings, and prepared trial materials. His earlier internship at a real estate law firm enabled him to conduct real estate research, prepare legal documents, maintain client communication, and provide administrative support.

Fluent in both Farsi and Hebrew, Mordechay brings valuable multilingual communication skills to Carpenter & Zuckerman, enabling him to assist a diverse spectrum of clients. Outside of the courtroom, he enjoys playing basketball, watching sports, traveling the world, and exploring new cultures. Mordechay is also committed to community service, having volunteered at the Los Angeles Mission homeless shelter.
