About

As the son of two personal injury lawyers, Benjamin G. Berkley knew from a young age that he was destined to follow in his parents’ footsteps. Mr. Berkley joined Carpenter & Zuckerman as a personal injury attorney shortly after graduating from law school in 2013. He specializes in all areas of personal injury law, including car accidents, trip-and-fall, slip-and-fall, and traumatic brain injury cases. Mr. Berkley is versed in handling the full spectrum of injury cases, from simple sprain/strain incidents to cases involving complex surgery and traumatic brain injury.

Mr. Berkley takes great pride in vigorously advocating for his clients who have been injured due to someone else’s negligence. Thus far, he has secured over $75 million in settlements, arbitration awards, and trial verdicts for his deserving clients. Mr. Berkley leverages his strong command and knowledge of the Code of Civil Procedure and the Evidence Code to successfully navigate challenging cases, often achieving settlements significantly higher than his legal counterparts.

When not litigating for his clients, Mr. Berkley enjoys spending time with his young son, being with family, squeezing in a round of golf, and watching his beloved Michigan Wolverines. Go Blue!

Education

Prior to joining CZ Law, Mr. Berkley attended Southwestern Law School in Los Angeles, where he was an associate editor of Law Review, Southwestern’s quarterly journalHis scholarly article on the media’s impact on an individual’s Miranda rights was published in the journal.
