About
Natasha D. Travis is an accomplished trial lawyer at Carpenter & Zuckerman, with over two decades of litigation experience spanning both plaintiff and defense roles. Her comprehensive background provides valuable insight into defense strategies, giving her a distinct advantage when advocating for plaintiffs in personal injury cases and other legal matters. Known for her analytical precision, persuasive writing, and unwavering commitment to justice, she is a powerful advocate for clients facing complex legal challenges.
Throughout her career, Natasha has managed all phases of litigation, from pretrial strategy to trial preparation and appeals. She has handled cases involving catastrophic injuries, complex torts, employment disputes, and government liability. Before joining CZ Law, she held senior positions at several prominent law firms in Southern California, where she managed high-volume caseloads, prepared witnesses for trial, and consulted on compliance and privacy issues. Natasha brings a deep command of dispositive and complex motion practice, complemented by exceptional courtroom advocacy and persuasive legal writing.
In addition to her litigation experience, Natasha served as Assistant Dean at the Abraham Lincoln University School of Law in Los Angeles, where she taught courses in torts, contracts, and legal research and writing. She also oversaw major components of the school’s distance learning program and advised the university’s president on compliance with emerging regulatory standards.
Outside of her legal practice, Natasha is deeply committed to community service. She has volunteered with the California Department of Veterans Affairs at Stand Down and Homeless Resource Events, raised funds for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and World Vision by participating in half marathons, and supported animal welfare through Kitten Rescue L.A. Her involvement with these organizations reflects her enduring dedication to public service, advocacy, and compassion.
